Star Linguists competition

Try life in another languageAre you passionate about languages?

Would you like to inspire the younger generation to learn a language?

If you are aged 18-25 and have benefited from having language skills then we’d like to hear from you.

We’re looking for anyone with exciting or positive experiences of using languages; maybe you work abroad for a multinational firm or perhaps you work here in the UK but find yourself dealing with foreign clients? Or perhaps your language skills have helped you find the love of your life or given you unexpected opportunities to travel?

We’re looking for a team of linguists to help spread the word that languages are important through interviews with the media. Moreover, one of our ‘language ambassadors’ will be invited to star in a radio advert for the Try Life in another Language campaign to encourage young people to select a language when making their decisions for GCSE or equivalent level.

Here's what you need to do

Fill in the form below and tell us in no more than 50 words why you’re passionate about languages and how they’ve helped you in everyday life.
