Construction is a fast-moving industry. New projects and schemes are springing up all over the world, and new opportunities are always presenting themselves. You could be helping to build facilities for the London Olympics, bringing water to a drought-stricken country, working for an international company or designing a hospital in China. In each of these examples, languages would be a vital asset – whether it’s to co-ordinate an international workforce or to reach new markets and keep up with global developments.
