Language Teaching

Teachers are in demand at all levels in the education system, and there are many good reasons to pursue this specialist career path. It can be an extremely rewarding and varied profession, but can also be demanding emotionally, and requires confidence, organisational ability and enthusiasm in order to succeed.

Financial incentives are offered to those who complete training to become a language teacher, and there is strong support from CILT, the National Centre for Languages and other organisations such as the Association for Language Learning in terms of continuing professional development. It can be an extremely rewarding and varied profession, but can also be demanding emotionally, and requires confidence, organisational ability and enthusiasm in order to succeed.
