Case studies

 

Our case studies illustrate clearly how people use languages in the world of work, and reinforce our messages throughout this website. They are collected here for you to view at a glance, and pick according to your needs and preference.

 

The case studies are presented in easy to search formats - either by language or by sector and are displayed by job title. We currently have 21 languages, which show evidence of using languages at work. The job sectors are divided into language specific careers, and the employment areas covered by the 14 specialised Diplomas, which will be phased into the 14-19 curriculum over a six-year period from 2008, and by other professions that do not fall into these classifications.
