About us
The competition is organised by CILT, the National Centre for Languages as part of our work to promote the UK’s language capability. The winning video clips will be chosen by our panel of celebrity judges, and made available as a resource for all those working with young people, to encourage them to value language learning and take it to a higher level.
The competition links in particular to our work within the Routes into Languages programme, an £8 million initiative funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England and the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF), to increase and widen participation in language learning in higher education.
