The LAFTAs

The Language and Film Talent Awards (LAFTAs) was a UK-wide competition which asked young people aged 13-21 to make two-minute film clips which demonstrate the importance of languages.

Thank you to everyone who submitted a film clip for the last competition; the winners were announced at a glamorous award ceremony that took place on Tuesday 6 July 2010 at the British Film Institute in London.

Congratulations to all our winners! Click here to see the winning clips.

We are sorry, but due to resourcing constraints, we are not planning to run another LAFTAs competition this year.

We hope to offer other activities you can run with students, so keep checking our websites for details.
